What This Site Is

12Axes.info is an independent, free version of the 12 Axes political test in English, Spanish and Portuguese. It is not run by the original 12axes authors or by any party, campaign or government.

Where the Questions Come From

The statements come from the 12axes question bank in the politicaltests project on GitHub, released under the MIT License with the copyright line of 8values (SapplyValues). We fixed typos in the English and wrote the Spanish and Portuguese versions. The scoring keeps the original rules: answer weights from 2 to -2, signed by the pole each statement leans to.

How the Profiles Are Made

The original quiz has no countries or figures and matched ideologies on 4 of its 12 axes. Every ideology, country and figure profile here is our own: each was drafted with AI from public positions, laws and records, then checked by hand on all 12 axes. They are editorial reference profiles, not test results.

Profiles are reviewed when a country changes its laws or a figure changes course, and the date at the bottom of each page shows the last review.
